Authorisation for Solar Power Systems
Connecting your Solar Power System or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to the grid requires formal authorisation from the electricity provider. After installation, a new contract must be established with the energy supplier, and the electricity meter must be replaced to ensure compliant feed‑in and system operation.
Solar Power Systems with a performance rating of up to 50 kVA are classified as household‑sized small power plants. This classification also applies when a BESS is integrated into the system, provided the combined configuration remains within regulatory limits.
Below is an overview of the authorisation and installation procedure for your solar and storage project:
Authorisation of solar power systems: EON
Payment of the first installment.
Completed forms: power of attorney, data for planning, statements of consent from the co-owner.
We submit the request to the service provider.
Typically 2-3 weeks.
We submit the connection documentation to the service provider.
The license is received from the service provider.
Payment of the second installment.
Solar Power System installation on site.
Reporting to the service provider that the system is ready.
Authorisation of Solar Power systems: ELMŰ, NKM
Payment of the first installment.
Completed forms: power of attorney, data for planning, statements of consent from the co-owner, title deed, map copy.
We submit the request to the service provider.
Typically 2-3 weeks.
Return of documents signed by the customer to the service provider: technical and economic information, producer's declaration.
The license is received from the service provider. It can be 2-3 weeks.
Payment of the second installment.
Solar Power System installation on site.
Reporting to the service provider that the system is ready.
